Overview
CT Tech - Radiology in Carbondale, Illinois. Start date 03/30/2026 for a travel temporary assignment lasting 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,379–$2,469 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, with every-other weekend coverage and on-call up to 10 days per month (split evenly among technicians). This assignment occurs in a hospital setting and may involve CT imaging procedures and, as needed, MRI per department requirements. Credentials include ARRT in Radiology, Illinois IEMA licensure, CPR, and education of an associate degree in Radiology or earned certification. Certification in AMT or ASCP is noted as a desirable credential. The role supports using EPIC Safe Trace; parking is available behind the facility or at the South entrance.

Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures as assigned, including patient positioning, scanner operation, and adherence to Radiologist instructions for protocol and safety.
- Administer and monitor IV contrast within trained scope; maintain IV/contrast competency.
- Verify scan protocols with Radiologist prior to imaging and ensure correct labeling and documentation in the PACS system.
- Utilize PACS to route and archive images; ensure timely image transfer and accurate study completion.
- Assist with clerical duties to maintain department efficiency; support scheduling and workflow as needed.
- When required, participate in MRI procedures per department guidelines; coordinate with Radiology leadership and EPIC/Safe Trace workflows.

Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiology; Illinois IEMA licensure (or applicable state licensure) and CPR certification
- Associate degree in Radiography or equivalent certification
- 1 year radiology experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with a Monday–Friday 2:30 PM–11:00 PM shift and on-call/weekend coverage
- Proficiency with PACS; familiarity with EPIC/Safe Trace is a plus
- AMT or ASCP certification is preferred
