Compensation: $23–$25 per hour
Benefits: Medical, dental and vision insurance
Location: 100% Onsite – Oakbrook Illinois
Work Model: Full time, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
A growing benefits department is adding a Benefits Department Representative to support a brand-new team during a high-growth period. This role offers hands-on training and the chance to expand your skill set as business demands increase especially during the busy March and April season.
As a Benefits Department Representative, you’ll focus on the administrative side of benefits claims, helping ensure accuracy, compliance and smooth processing. This is not a customer-facing role, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys behind-the-scenes work and detailed tasks.
What’s the job?
Support benefits examiners by processing claims
Handle refund processing and required documentation
Verify beneficiary information, address changes and banking details
Review sensitive documents for accuracy and completeness
Enter and update data across internal systems
Assist a newly built team in a collaborative office setting
What’s needed?
Claims experience (benefits, medical or auto required)
Strong data entry and computer skills
Comfort working in multiple systems and learning new tools
Familiarity with Outlook and Teams
Adaptability, attention to detail and willingness to learn
Ability to follow training and document processes
