The Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled Adobe AEM Architect - Manager to join our dynamic Marketing Transformation team. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions that enhance digital experiences for our clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AEM architecture, a deep understanding of the Adobe Experience Cloud, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality digital solutions. As an AEM Architect, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, establish best practices, and ensure successful project delivery. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team. Your Key Responsibilities As a Manager, you will be responsible for the overall architecture and technical leadership of AEM projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices. You will:- Lead the technical aspects of Adobe Experience Cloud implementations, including microsites, DAM repositories, Content-As-A-Service, and system integrations, while ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with technology, product, and business partners to gather requirements and design reusable templates, components, and services that enhance user experience and streamline content management.
- Drive the adoption of the latest UI frameworks on the Adobe platform for modern web applications and work with cross-functional teams (enterprise architecture, QA, security, UX/UI designers, and DevOps) to build scalable, secure, and reliable content solutions.
- Oversee platform integration with Adobe marketing cloud solutions such as Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target, while implementing automation, continuous integration, and deployment best practices with QA and DevOps teams.
- Establish and enforce coding standards and development methodologies within the AEM team, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster continuous learning.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in digital experience management and Adobe products, contributing to the successful implementation of defined digital experience solutions.
To thrive in this role, you will need strong architectural skills, a deep understanding of AEM, and the ability to lead teams effectively. Additional key responsibilities include:
- Leading project delivery from inception to completion.
- Managing client relationships and engaging in daily interactions.
- Ensuring quality assurance and adherence to best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree); Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture and development, specifically with AEMaaCS and EDS. This includes implementing and configuring web content management solutions using Adobe AEM, working with AEM Assets, and building sites, templates, components, and integrations.
- Proficient in technologies such as Java, HTML/DHTML, XML, JavaScript, and web services.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, RESTful services, and client-side scripting.
- Familiarity with Java concepts and patterns, including Java/J2EE, JSP, Sling, web services, JUnit, MVC, Eclipse, and Maven.
- Experience with decoupled architectures and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills with a flexible attitude in shifting environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent spoken, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to negotiate and manage difficult or ambiguous situations effectively.
- Adobe Certified Expert as an AEM Developer or AEM Architect is preferred.
- A valid passport and US driver’s license; willingness and ability to travel as needed.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $142,600 to $261,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $171,200 to $297,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
