Our enterprise client is seeking a Communications Specialist to support

their New Business and Technical Services team. This contractor will play a key role in developing and executing strategic communications initiatives that enhance our brand, engage stakeholders, and support business objectives. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, strategic thinker, and multitasker with a proven track record in communications and marketing.

This role is hybrid (3-4 days onsite) out of Chicago or Oak Brooke, IL,

40 hours per week for a the next 12 months, potential to extend.

Top Must Have Skills

5-7 years of professional communications experience (corporate or agency)\ Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities\ Strategic thinker with strong multitasking and project management skills

Additional Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or

related field\ Proficiency in Monday.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams\ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail\ Experience in utility, energy, or technical services industries preferred\ Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms\ Experience supporting executive communications

Responsibilities

Draft press releases, executive talking points, and internal

communications\ Develop and schedule social media content aligned with brand strategy\ Create compelling PowerPoint presentations for executive engagement\ Design and execute marketing strategies and materials\ Manage digital campaigns across email, social media, and online platforms\ Conduct market research and analyze campaign performance\ Collaborate cross-functionally to align communications efforts\ Support sales and other departments with tailored messaging\ Plan and attend marketing events, trade shows, and conferences\ Track assignments and budgets using Monday.com

confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
