Restaurant Manager

We're looking for an experienced Restaurant Reservations Manager who is passionate about hospitality, leadership, and creating exceptional guest experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines restaurant operations, guest engagement, reservations strategy, reputation management, and team development.

What You'll Do✨ Lead daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional service, efficiency, and profitability.
✨ Coach, develop, and inspire the Front-of-House team while maintaining high service standards.
✨ Create memorable guest experiences through exceptional hospitality and attention to detail.
✨ Partner closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless communication between Front and Back of House.
✨ Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready restaurant at all times.
Guest Experience & Reservations✨ Own the OpenTable reservation system, optimizing seating capacity, pacing, and guest flow to maximize both revenue and the guest experience.
✨ Oversee large reservations, special requests, VIP accommodations, and special occasions.
✨ Build meaningful relationships with returning guests by maintaining detailed guest profiles and delivering personalized hospitality.
✨ Recognize VIPs and regular guests to create memorable experiences that drive loyalty.
⭐ Reputation & Brand Management✨ Monitor and professionally respond to guest reviews on Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, OpenTable, and other digital platforms.
✨ Turn guest feedback into opportunities for continuous improvement and guest retention.
✨ Partner with the Marketing team to coordinate visits from influencers, media partners, and VIP guests while ensuring their experience reflects Ambar's hospitality standards.
Leadership & Administrative Responsibilities✨ Analyze reservation metrics, covers, cancellations, no-shows, and dining trends to help improve restaurant performance.
✨ Prepare nightly and weekly reservation reports for restaurant leadership.
✨ Complete end-of-day administrative closing procedures, including guest notes, daily cover reconciliation, and the nightly manager log.
✨ Assist with scheduling, administrative projects, and operational reporting.
What We're Looking For
Previous Restaurant Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in an upscale, high-volume restaurant.
Strong understanding of hospitality, guest relations, reservations, and restaurant operations.
Experience with OpenTable or comparable reservation systems preferred.
Exceptional leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
