Adelphi is seeking a Radiology Technician to provide radiologic technology ultrasound services at a correctional facility in Greenville, Illinois. The ideal candidate will provide ultrasound services for Adults in Custody (AIC) in a correctional setting to support inmate healthcare.

Requirements:

• Current certification from an accredited radiology school to practice and perform general ultrasound, vascular ultrasound and echocardiography in the U.S.
• CPR certification (AHA).
• Minimum one year of experience performing ultrasound procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide general ultrasound, vascular ultrasound, and echocardiogram services, including image taking, processing, and submitting interpretation reports.
• Ensure all interpretations are performed by a board-certified radiologist and/or cardiologist.
• Submit typed reports to the the facility's Health Services Department.
• Communicate abnormal results verbally to the Clinical Director upon receipt.
• Receive patients, explain procedures, alleviate patient anxiety, and document encounters using official consultation authorization forms.
• Adhere to institutional and CDC safety protocols and patient care standards.
