Supply Management Specialist
A Supply Management Specialist is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the East Moline, IL area. This role will focus on analyzing costs, managing supplier performance, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product delivery and order fulfillment. location: East Moline, Illinois

salary: $23.06 - 24.72 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: High School responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies and contracts for lower-value commodities.
- Assist with cost models, make vs. buy studies, spend analysis, and invoice resolution.
- Use preset tools and methods to collate and analyze supply chain data independently.
- Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing to address chronic supplier performance issues using the Achieving Excellence process.
- Execute planning activities within the Enterprise Product Delivery (EPDP) and Order Fulfillment (EOFP) frameworks.
- Perform quality tests, inspections, and gap analyses to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Resolve routine and complex inquiries from internal stakeholders and external suppliers regarding policies.
- Manage and update complex databases, spreadsheets, and documentation to support departmental goals.
- Facilitate communication between design engineers, suppliers, and management to ensure project alignment.
- Previous experience leading teams or managing projects involving multiple stakeholders and working with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to collaborate on project teams involving multiple disciplines and facilities to deliver expected results
- strong interpersonal and facilitation skills to work in a team environment, interacting with design engineers, suppliers and management.
- Experience with negotiation and conflict resolution.
- strong verbal and written communication, presentation and documentation skills with multiple levels of the organization.
- Proven experience with prioritizing multiple tasks/projects with the ability to shift priorities as needed in a fast-paced environment.
- strong computer skills and systems knowledge, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Post-Secondary Non-Tertiary Education.
- Basic experience of simple office / operational systems (4 to 6 months).
- Very limited (0 to 3 months).
- Experience level: Entry Level
