Customer Service Representative / Administrative Assistant: Freeport, IL

Our client in Freeport, Illinois is seeking a Customer Service Representative / Administrative Assistant to join their team. Known as the “Director of First Impressions,” this position plays a key role in supporting clients, sales, and marketing efforts, while ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative operations.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative / Administrative Assistant:

• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
• Assist clients with initiating insurance claims and following up as needed.
• Support the sales and marketing teams with client communication and follow-up.
• Contact current clients to schedule insurance and financial review appointments.
• Process billing statements and balance the premium fund account daily.
• Gather essential household information (vehicles, motorcycles, etc.) to support licensed staff in preparing quotes.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming front office environment.
• Refer clients to the appropriate licensed team members after collecting necessary information.

Customer Service Rep / Admin Assistant Requirements and Qualifications:

• Prior customer service experience preferred, especially in fast-paced or multitasking environments.
• Strong communication skills and a mature, professional demeanor.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Comfortable with phone interaction and follow-up with clients.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Pay for Customer Service Representative / Administrative Assistant : Starting at $18/hour.
