Accounts Payable Specialist

The Role

As the Accounts Payable Specialist at GTI, you will be responsible for supporting accounting operations on our finance team.

Responsibilities

• Code invoices, vouchers, check requests, and other documents with correct accounting codes in accordance with standard procedures and accurately enter them into the financial system.


• Handle vendor correspondence via phone and email.


• Obtain all supporting documentation for invoices (such as purchase orders and approvals) and upload documentation into the financial system.


• Investigate and resolve issues related to invoice processing.


• Reconcile various accounts by identifying and correcting posting errors or omissions.


• Receive, research, and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries regarding account status, including communicating resolutions of discrepancies to the appropriate parties.


• File, maintain, and distribute accounting documents, records, and reports.


• Support market lead personnel in various aspects of the accounting close process.


• Perform other duties as required to support the Accounting Department.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.


• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong multi-tasking skills.


• Self-directed, with the ability to follow up on pending issues independently.


• Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including handling confidential information appropriately.

Additional Requirements

• Must pass any and all required background checks


• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry


• Must possess valid driver’s license


• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

The pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and/or location of the role. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.

Green Thumb Pay Range

$47,840 - $54,080 USD
