General Laborer – 3rd Shift: Sterling, Illinois

Our customer in Sterling, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting General Laborers to work full-time on 3rd shift. As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for operating shot blasting equipment to clean metal radiator parts, as well as performing inspections and basic equipment maintenance to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities of the General Laborer:
• Set up and operate shot blasting equipment to clean metal radiator parts and components.
• Load and unload parts onto conveyor systems, hooks, or racks, depending on the machine type.
• Inspect parts before and after blasting to ensure proper surface preparation and identify defects.
• Perform routine maintenance on shot blasting equipment, including media level checks, nozzle replacements, and filter changes.
• Adjust machine settings to control blast pressure, time, and media flow for different part types.
• Follow all shop safety protocols and procedures.
• Support other shop tasks as assigned.

General Laborer Requirements and Qualifications:
• Safety shoes required.
• Safety glasses and gloves furnished by the company.

Pay for General Laborer: Starting at $23.42/hour.
