Overview A hybrid leadership role managing a modern WordPress ecosystem. The lead must balance high-level JS/React/Gutenberg and PHP development, DevOps-focused thinking, and clear communication. This individual acts as the primary technical point of contact for clients. Qualifications Technical & DevOps Architecture- Modern WordPress: Expertise in NPM-based build systems, custom parent/child themes, and React-based plugin development.
- DevOps Practices: Proficiency in managing source control via GitLab (or similar), with a deep understanding of Merge Request (MR) workflows and code review standards.
- CI/CD Integration: Ability to understand automated pipelines and ensure code quality before merging.
- Atlassian Stack Mastery: Skilled in using Jira for task tracking and Confluence for centralized technical documentation.
- Toolchain Integration: Experience linking GitLab activity to Jira issues to provide stakeholders with a transparent view of development progress.
- Technical Writing: Capability to produce clear, client-facing documentation within Jira tickets or Confluence to satisfy the client's need for detailed explanations.
- Executive Presence: High comfort with frequent on-camera meetings and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Stakeholder Navigation: A proactive approach, using Jira and Confluence to keep the client informed and reassured during high-pressure cycles.
- PM Partnership: Acts as the technical "right hand" to Internal Project Managers, translating technical blockers into actionable project risks and timelines.
- Well-Spoken & Polished: Maintains a professional demeanor in all face-to-face (digital) interactions.
- Methodical: Relies on structured MR processes and documentation to maintain project integrity.
- Resilient: Thrives under pressure, maintaining clear communication with both the engineering team and the client during critical deployments.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
