Location: Hybrid - Must be based in the Chicagoland area for site

visits\ Schedule: Freelance \~5-10 hours/week (with seasonal increases)\ Start: ASAP, ongoing work\ You must have plan-o-gram samples to be considered!

Are you a creative visual storyteller with a passion for spatial design

and retail environments? Our client-a beloved local restaurant brand-is seeking a Freelance Visual Merchandiser / Environmental Designer to help shape and elevate their \"grab-and-go\" retail experience across multiple locations.

This is a part-time, ongoing freelance opportunity (approx. 5-10

hours/week, with potential for more during peak seasons like the holidays). The role is hybrid, with a mix of remote work and on-site visits to restaurants, the corporate office, and the innovation center-so access to a car is required.

What You\'ll Do

• Design plan-o-grams and product packaging for seasonal grab-and-go

rollouts and new store openings

• Lead swag and merchandise launches from concept to vendor

coordination and prototype review

• Collaborate with vendors to source materials, gather quotes, and

propose pricing

• Visit the innovation center to review mockups and ensure brand

consistency across all touchpoints

• Bring fresh, creative ideas to enhance the in-store retail

experience

What We\'re Looking For

• Experience in retail design, visual merchandising, or environmental

design (restaurant or food/beverage experience is a big plus!)

• Strong understanding of spatial planning, product display, and brand

storytelling

• Familiarity with plan-o-gram creation, packaging design, and vendor

sourcing

• Bonus points for experience with Asana or graphic design tools
• A portfolio showcasing relevant work is required with your

application
