Position Overview
A rapidly growing transportation and logistics provider is seeking experienced Freight Sales Executives to support aggressive national expansion heading into 2026. This role is ideal for hunter-style sales professionals with strong experience in expedited, time-critical, and specialized freight solutions. You will be responsible for driving new revenue, opening high-value accounts, and selling complex transportation services backed by a well-established operational platform.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow a profitable book of business across expedited, time-critical, air freight, full truckload, white glove, and heavy haul transportation services.
Prospect, qualify, and close new shipper accounts through cold outreach, referrals, and industry relationships.
Leverage existing relationships where applicable to accelerate revenue growth.
Conduct client discovery to understand urgency, service requirements, and freight complexity, then design tailored transportation solutions.
Prepare pricing, negotiate terms, and close agreements while protecting margin and service expectations.
Transition new accounts to operations and maintain strong collaboration to ensure flawless execution.
Maintain accurate CRM records, manage pipeline activity, and forecast revenue and GP consistently.
Represent the organization professionally in client meetings, calls, and industry interactions.
Requirements
3–7+ years of proven success in freight sales, transportation brokerage, or 3PL environments.
Strong background in one or more of the following: expedited freight, time-critical shipments, air freight, FTL, white glove, or heavy haul.
Hunter mentality with the ability to open new accounts and close complex logistics solutions.
Existing book of business is highly preferred but not required for the right producer.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently in a performance-driven, fast-moving sales environment.
Experience using CRM tools for pipeline management and forecasting.
