CNC Machinist
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team in Springfield, IL, 62703. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. If you have a passion for machining and a commitment to quality, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and blueprints.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and precision of parts.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of CNC machine programming and operation.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a machining environment.
