What We Look For In a Spanish 2 Tutor

Emphasizes developing paragraph-level communication and connects Spanish to travel, music, and cultural traditions.
• Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with Spanish 2 curricula and common challenges such as preterite versus imperfect distinctions, mastering irregular preterite forms, and pronoun placement rules. Adapts instruction using storytelling activities, structured writing exercises, and paired conversation practice to support intermediate learners building proficiency in all four language modalities toward level three readiness.
• Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
