Senior Manager, Finance
Job Summary
The Transportation Finance Senior Manager oversees financial reporting and analysis for the company’s transportation network, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and consistency across key metrics. This role partners closely with transportation and supply chain leadership to deliver insights that drive cost efficiency and informed decision-making. Responsible for identifying savings opportunities, analyzing performance trends, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The role also collaborates cross-functionally to support strategic projects, improve reporting frameworks, and enhance visibility into transportation spend. The role requires a supply chain background, strong analytical skills, financial expertise, and the ability to influence stakeholders and drive change management. This role is based in our Deerfield, IL office and is on‑site four days a week. #LI-NL1 Job Responsibilities- Directs and controls the teams’ activities, including process design, SOP creation, audit controls in accordance with GAAP and company policy. Implements new policies and ensures those policies are communicated to team as well as the business.
- Prepares management reports and presents team status and results to Senior Management.
- Drives and partners with cross-functional teams to develop and implement approved changes.
- Works with internal and external audit as needed.
- Empowers and inspires others to put the customers first in everything they do, shows employees appreciation and removes obstacles so employees can stay customer focused.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 4 years of Accounting, Finance or IT experience OR High School/GED and at least 7 years of Accounting, Finance or IT experience.
- At least 2 years in Retail Business.
- At least 2 years of experience with Procure to Pay
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in leading projects, teams and/or initiatives.
- At least 3 years of SAP experience and acumen.
- At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
- At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
- Proven project management experience.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a dynamic environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and influence cross-functional partners.
Salary Range: $115400 - $196200 / Salaried
