Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Naperville, IL is seeking a licensed Social Worker for a leave coverage contract. This role involves supporting students across all grade levels with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, ensuring their well-being and academic success through direct intervention and collaboration with educators and families.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing counseling, crisis intervention, and case management services to students.
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized support plans.
• Conducting assessments and maintaining documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines.
• Facilitating referrals to community resources and external agencies as needed.
• Supporting the development of positive school climate initiatives and social skills programs.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Illinois Social Worker License and Professional Educator License (PEL).
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, staff, and families.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain accurate records.
• Understanding of student development, mental health, and school policies.

This contract position covers a maternity leave and requires 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
