Job Title: IT Manager 

Location : Elmhurst, IL – In Office 

The pay range for this position is $95,000 - $140,000 per year based on the national average.

Position Summary:  As the first in house hire in this department, the IT Security Manager will have the opportunity to build a function from the ground up! You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the IT infrastructure and information security presence for the company's corporate and operations groups, as well as leading high impact security and compliance projects for the company's remote monitoring solution. Renewance's Monitoring Center is a key piece of our business, allowing us to monitor and support our client's battery assets in real time. The IT Security Manager will lead the development of the Monitoring Center's security posture, ensuring compliance with industry leading standards.

You'll also act as the primary point of contact for our local and field services employees, providing excellent support and service on technical issues. Additionally, this individual will play a key role in the employee onboarding and offboarding process through hardware and profile set up, asset tracking, and mobile device management. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and manage local network and systems infrastructure ensuring performance and security.
• Provide IT services to local, remote, and field-based employees, resolving a broad range of hardware and software issues.
• Proactively address security risks and vulnerabilities within the IT infrastructure to ensure compliance with security protocols and industry best practices.
• Optimize the design and capability of Renewance's Remote Monitoring Center, focusing on security and compliance to ensure marketability.
• Identify and build process improvements for IT operations, working to onboard all IT services from existing 3 rd party managed services provider.
• Execute the IT onboarding and offboarding activities for Renewance employees including Office 365 account and other software license management, asset management, and mobile device management (MDM).
• Manage all IT budgeting and procurement for software and licensing, networking hardware, office IT equipment and accessories.
• Perform annual IT risk assessment and vulnerability analysis to ensure integrity and security to evidence the commitment to IT governance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Security. 
• 5+ years of experience in IT Management, Network or System Administration, or Cyber/Information Security focused roles. 
• Experience managing IT operations in a small to mid size businesses
• Experience designing and implementing information security practices for local and remote infrastructure and client facing tools. Experience meeting or certified in NERC CIP standards a plus.
• Strong understanding of Office 365 administration and systems or network administration
• Ability to providing general office IT support and understanding Mobile Device Management.
• Experience working with third-party MSPs and managing vendor relationships. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally. 
• Ability to manage short term tasks while balancing longer term projects. 
• Experience researching cyber threats and proactively implementing information security practices
