Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Special Requests: Requested time off, Last four (4) digits of clinician’s SSN, Clinician’s middle initial, Candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and must produce a negative drug screen for all panels. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend day shift is sat/sun night shift is fri/sat. No Call or Standby requirement. Floating Requirements: Travel RN’s are first to float if needed, this happens occasionally - to other like MedSurg floors.

Required Skills/Experience: Postop surgical care and general med surg care; we like 1-2 years clinical experience.
