Overview

A Project manager at Gallagher Bassett is responsible for the budget, schedule, scope and quality of the project right from Initiation till production deployment till handing it over to support. Accountable for the successful delivery of services which meet the defined business and technical requirements on time and within budget incumbent(s) support and improve business and technology processes by managing significant, multi-disciplinary programs and projects. Leads multiple technology and technology related projects.

How you'll make an impact

1. Develops and maintains project artifacts such as project plan including budget, schedule and resources
2. Acts as the leader to the project team guiding them towards meeting project objectives
3. Interfaces with business owners and SMEs to facilitate requirements gathering and UAT / Change management during deployment phase
4. Constant communication with project sponsor on project progress, issues and mitigation
5. Maintain key project artifacts such as plans in ROI, weekly project status updates, monthly executive status updates
6. Evaluates project request in terms of strategic direction of Business and opportunities to leverage existing technologies/applications.
7. Actively participates in all project phases such as Requirements, Architecture, Design and Testing to provide guidance to the team
8. Proactively identifies and champions opportunities to further streamline improve business process.
9. Operationally trouble shoots complex issues, co-ordinates integration of various modules and ensures compliance with expected quality standards
10. Clarifies scope, and recommends alternative solutions, project strategy and deliverable prioritization.
11. Manages all communication with business users; keeps users informed and updated regularly. Adapts project updates/presentations to audience.
12. Participates in multiple key initiatives simultaneously.
13. Ability to drive consensus among various stakeholders, including technology management and third parties
14. Ability to lead process improvement initiatives and to collaborate effectively with technology, application, compliance, and audit personnel at multiple levels
15. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
16. Ability to work at a fast pace and cope with conflicting deadlines

About You

Skills :

1. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills/critical thinking.
2. Strong leadership and relationship skills
3. Effective stakeholder management: communication, negotiation, direct/indirect influencing techniques, run productive meetings.
4. Polished documentation practices: ability to assimilate large amounts of information, identify salient details and vary presentation based on audience.
5. Clear and confident presentation skills.
6. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Required :

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years related Project management experience required
• Experience producing detailed project schedules and resource requirements
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills – must be comfortable speaking and writing to C-level audiences, as well as technical audiences
• Extensive experience in project reporting, including executive level briefing

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
