About the Role

Barclays is seeking a senior Program Manager / Delivery Lead to manage large-scale change programs with a focus on regulatory compliance, sustainability, and cross-functional governance. In this high-impact role, you will oversee multi-year initiatives that support Barclays strategic goals while ensuring programs are delivered on time, in scope, within budget, and in compliance with internal policies and global regulations .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder engagement : Manage collaboration across multiple teams on obligations under the EU AI Act and other change initiatives.
• Drive governance : Lead working group discussions, follow up on actions, and provide timely KPI reporting to leadership.
• Deliver programs : Manage plans, budgets, timelines, risks, and resources to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Change enablement : Facilitate communication, training, and adoption of new practices to embed changes across the business.
• Risk & control : Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while strengthening governance frameworks.
• Strategic influence : Provide thought leadership, coach junior specialists, and guide long-term direction.

Role Expectations

• Shape strategy, design solutions, and deliver continuous improvement across functions.
• Act as a subject matter expert, guiding structured, multi-year assignments.
• Advise and influence senior stakeholders, including functional leadership teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across business areas to align with strategy.
• Apply deep analysis and innovative problem-solving to create effective solutions.
