This position shall have overall responsibility for the contractor's quality control management program and site safety oversight.
QC Management
- Administer quality control management program
- Responsible for the overall quality assurance program
- Monitor and inspect all delivery orders for compliance
- Maintain records of inspections and certifications
- Prepare monthly reports depicting findings of quality inspections
- Periodically review the quality control program to ensure compliance
- Examine processes for preventative and corrective maintenance; make suggestions based on findings
- Perform inspections and re-inspections to ensure problems have been resolved
- Collect data for the DMLSS system, including work orders and equipment history
- Research safety and quality topics online
Safety Oversight
- Conduct random and scheduled safety inspections.
- Prepare monthly reports depicting findings of Safety inspections
- Prepare incident and accident reports
- Preparing training materials and conducting employee safety meetings
- Manage the disposal of hazardous waste
- Research and issue infection control and interim Life Safety permits
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and PPE procedures
- Ability to conduct accident investigations and safety inspections
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Required Qualifications:
- Must possess OSHA-30 Certification required.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with EM-385-1-1 safety standards and compliance training.
- Minimum of five (5) years of safety experience within the last ten (10) years.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in quality control evaluation and reporting within construction and/or facility management environments.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting similar-sized healthcare facilities with 24/7 operations and facilities totaling 300,000 square feet or greater.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices, hazard identification, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ability to conduct safety inspections, audits, evaluations, and reporting activities in operational facility environments.
- Experience maintaining documentation, compliance records, and reporting metrics related to safety and quality control programs.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with facility management, contractors, and operational teams.
