Sales Team Manager

• Pay Range: $100,000 – $120,000 + Performance-Based Bonus
• Location: Peru, IL (Fully Onsite – Relocation Assitance Available)
• Position Type: Direct Hire

How you'll spend your time as a Sales Team Manager:

• Manage and develop a team of 5+ inside sales representatives
• Build and implement sales processes, KPIs, and accountability systems
• Drive adoption and proper use of HubSpot for tracking calls, activity, and performance
• Partner with ownership on strategy for major retail accounts (Menards, Walmart, Dollar General, Ace, Tractor Supply, Do It Best)
• Provide a buffer between ownership and customers – able to push back when needed
• Support business development and pitching when necessary – but management is the priority
• Create reporting and visibility into team activity and success metrics
• Coach reps on performance, pipeline management, and account growth

Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Sales Team Manager:

• 5+ years of retail sales experience (multi-store chains, not necessarily big-box).
• Managed a minimum of 5 sales reps in a previous role.
• Strong understanding of sales KPIs, activity tracking, and accountability systems.
• Experience implementing or optimizing CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
• Proficient with ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus).
• Excellent leadership and people development skills.
• Able to balance hands-on management with strategic process building.
• Strong communication skills – comfortable pushing back when needed.
• Willing to relocate to Peru, IN (fully onsite role).
