Quality Control Inspector
We are a Source One Staffing agency currently recruiting dependable and detail-oriented candidates for a Quality Control Inspector position with a cosmetics manufacturing company in Elgin, IL. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering $18/hour in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates will be responsible for inspecting cosmetic products, completing quality paperwork, and ensuring products meet company standards for quality and safety. Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience is preferred.
Temp to Hire | $18/hour
Schedule : Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm
- Inspected cosmetic products and packaging for quality, accuracy, and defects before shipment
- Checked labels, seals, lot numbers, and product appearance to ensure company standards were met
- Performed visual inspections on bottles, containers, caps, and finished products during production
- Removed damaged or defective items from production lines and reported issues to supervisors
- Completed quality control paperwork, inspection logs, and production documentation accurately
- Maintained detailed inspection records and ensured compliance with company procedures
- Assisted production teams in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in accordance with GMP guidelines
- Worked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting daily production goals
- Supported packaging, labeling, and final product verification for customer orders
