Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Travel Med Surg position in Peoria, Illinois. This role specializes in Neuro MedSurg Acute care, offering a dynamic work environment in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level 1 trauma center and a dedicated neuro unit.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide care for patients with conditions such as stroke, spine surgery, and brain injuries
• Manage Heparin titrated drips based on PTT
• Collaborate with a charge nurse and utilize house-wide telemetry systems
• Float within the unit as needed and assist with general unit tasks
• Cover every other weekend and holiday shifts as scheduled

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Active IL license or application in process
• BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Experience in Level 1 trauma settings
• Prior travel experience and dedicated neuro unit experience
