Pay Rate: $20 to $21 per hour
Position Summary
Our client, a commercial real estate company located in downtown Chicago, is seeking a professional and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to support a high-rise property managing tenants across two floors. This role serves as the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and vendors and plays a key role in maintaining a polished and welcoming front office environment.
This is a long-term temporary opportunity with stability and consistency, ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction and administrative support within a professional office setting.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist tenants, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner
Manage front desk operations, including answering and directing phone calls
Coordinate building access, visitor sign-in, and badge distribution as needed
Serve as a liaison between tenants and property management for general inquiries
Monitor and maintain common area presentation on assigned floors
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management
Communicate effectively with property management, maintenance, and security teams
Qualifications
Prior experience in a front desk, receptionist, or administrative support role
Experience in commercial real estate, property management, or professional office environments preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Professional demeanor and polished presentation
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office systems
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working fully on-site
