Midtown is searching for a Studio Fitness Instructor & Coach to teach and motivate our members to achieve their goals through classes on The FIELD at Midtown! With multiple boutique studios under one roof, we offer education and programs that promote the ability lead a variety of classes across a range of unique spaces and really offer an opportunity to build your career in fitness.

The Position
What you’ll do: Blaze a trail at Midtown Athletic Club.

We call our FIELD instructors coaches . Why? We believe in coaching people and taking them from A to B. Our FIELD coaches are equal parts performer and instructor—and bring their passions to life in our signature FIELD programs. You will lead classes with your personal brand of performance that engages, energizes, and challenges our members. Pay for this position is $30-$60 per class.

FIELD Coach responsibilities:

• Building your community
• Delivering experiential classes
• Inspiring our members, while fostering a “yearn to return” culture

FIELD Coach requirements:

• A passion for crafting inspiring experiences.
• A love of coaching and movement.
• Maintain at least one nationally recognized Group Instructor or Personal Training certification

--------------------------EBF-------------------------

Midtown has partnered with EverybodyFights boxing studio to deliver EBF programming and we're looking for a high-intensity Studio Fitness / EverybodyFights Instructor to lead these boxing-based fitness classes.

Midtown instructors are as excited to learn as they are to teach. Our instructors are encouraged to think of Midtown as a place to build your career. With multiple boutique studios, we offer education and programs that promote the ability lead a variety of classes across a range of boutique studios, or become certified personal trainers.

The Position

As a Studio Fitness / EverybodyFights Instructor, you should be able to roll with the punches as well as throw them, or put your guard down to engage with and encourage members one-on-one. Ideal candidates love to perform and can captivate an audience while leading a fitness class. Pay for this position is $30-$60 per class.

The primary responsibilities are:

• Delivering a kick-ass boxing experience

• Building your community

• Pushing our members to peak performance

• Inspiring them to keep fighting

EverybodyFights Instructor requirements:

• Experienced in teaching boxing-based fitness, martial arts or group fight style classes.

• Successfully complete Midtown’s EBF certification within 45 days.

Midtown is searching for an Arena Instructor to teach and motivate our members to achieve their goals. Midtown instructors are as excited to learn as they are to teach. Our instructors are encouraged to think of Midtown as a place to build your career. The Arena Studio at Midtown is a unique HIT studio that includes treadmill work and strength training on the FIT Bench through our Midtown-signature programming. We offer education around program design, coaching and member connection that promotes the ability to lead a variety of classes. Pay for this position is $30-$60 per class.

The Position

• Delivering experiential classes
• Inspiring our members, while fostering a “yearn to return” culture

Arena instructor requirements:

• A passion for crafting inspiring experiences.
• A love of coaching and movement
• Maintain at least one nationally recognized Group Instructor or Personal Training certification

Midtown is looking for a Yoga Instructor to guide our members through the techniques of practicing yoga.

The Position

Our Yoga instructors are knowledgeable, compassionate, and warm, while delivering experiences that are rooted in the tradition of yoga yet delivered with a modern approach. They skillfully curate each class and bring their passions to life in our signature Yoga program, leading members with their personal brand of performance. Pay for this position is $30-$60 per class.

Yoga Instructors:

• Deliver experiential classes
• Build a community
• Inspire our members with a yearn to return

Yoga instructor requirements:

• A passion for creating
• RYT 200 certified or more
• Experience instructing group classes
