Dog groomer

We are looking to hire a reliable groomer to join our crew! Owned by 2 sisters who have grown up loving all animals who have chosen a career to give the best quality of care for your pet.

We are looking to fill a part time or full time professional dog grooming position! Please read carefully, as this is NOT a training position.

The ideal candidate must:

* Have at least 1 year of professional pet grooming experience, not including time spent as a bather

* Be able to groom 5-7 dogs per day without bathing assistance

* *MUST* be comfortable and experienced working with dogs of all sizes, ages, breeds and all dog behaviors - able have to lift 50lbs or more on regular basis

* Have excellent time management skills without sacrificing work quality - work in a fast paced environment with a positive and calm attitude

* Be able to keep work areas neat & tidy and contribute to daily cleaning tasks in salon

* Have excellent knowledge of dog behavior

* Provide and maintain their own tools

* Portray professionalism with good communication and customer service skills and be comfortable discussing pet needs with customers

* Lastly, have a passion for this craft and a desire to continue education as care/trends change - able to create a positive grooming experience, treat all dogs with respect and care

Again—this is *not* a training or apprenticeship opportunity. We are in need of an experienced dog groomer!

Commission based pay (W-2) & our groomers keep 100% of tips provided by our loyal clientele!

We are able to provide flexible scheduling, however, Saturday is required, although every Saturday may not be scheduled. All/most holidays we are closed, & we give long weekends for major holidays.
