Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based Behavior Specialist is sought to support elementary students with individualized behavioral needs in a weekday, full-time position. This contract role begins immediately and continues through the 2025/2026 school year. The ideal candidate will hold an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential and demonstrate competency in applied behavior analysis within an educational setting.

Location: Des Plaines, Illinois
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks
Caseload: Approximately 1.1 elementary students

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans tailored to individual students needs
• Monitor and record student progress using data-driven methods
• Collaborate with educators and families to foster positive behavioral outcomes
• Provide direct instructional support and behavior modification strategies
• Maintain compliance with school policies and relevant regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in school settings preferred
• Strong understanding of behavioral principles and intervention techniques
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and communicate effectively with teams
