job purpose:
The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer will play a critical role in advancing fairlife's Decision Intelligence (DI) capabilities across its manufacturing network. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and scaling data solutions that support operational excellence at our factories, with an initial focus on the Goodyear, AZ facility and broader support for Coopersville, MI and Webster, NY factories. This role will be instrumental in driving the adoption of fairlife's Unified Factory Data Model (UFDM) and fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.
responsibilities:
- Collaborate with factory leadership and cross-functional teams to define and implement data and reporting strategies aligned with operational goals.
- Lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports that support decision-making at all levels of the factory.
- Drive the adoption and integration of the UFDM at the Goodyear facility, with scalable solutions that extend to Coopersville and Webster.
- Partner with engineering and IT teams to acquire and integrate new machine-level data points and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and optimize complex DAX calculations to support key performance indicators and business metrics.
- Maintain consistent visual and reporting standards across multiple Power BI workspaces and applications.
- Manage master data and ensure data governance practices are upheld within the UFDM framework.
- Provide training and support to end users to enhance data literacy and ensure effective use of BI tools.
skills/qualifications required:
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong technical expertise in data modeling, visualization, and analytics, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proficiency in SQL and DAX programming languages.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, and tools such as Visual Studio, DAX Studio, and Tabular Editor.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Base pay range:
$55,000—$80,000 USD
