Supplier Performance Program Manager

What this job involves: We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Supplier Performance Program Manager to join our procurement team. As the Supplier Performance Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize supplier performance and enhance our overall supply chain efficiency. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement and operations teams, to ensure that suppliers meet or exceed performance expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to create, own and develop a formalized SPM program. What your day-to-day will look like: Develop and implement a comprehensive supplier performance program to assess, monitor, and improve supplier performance. Identify performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to effectively measure supplier performance and establish performance benchmarks. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance against established metrics and KPIs, providing regular performance reports to management and internal stakeholders. Proactively identify and address potential supplier performance issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks. Collaborate with procurement team to evaluate existing supplier relationships and identify opportunities to optimize supplier performance and enhance overall supply chain efficiency. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in supplier performance management, recommending appropriate process enhancements and tools to drive continuous improvement. Drive supplier performance improvement initiatives, including cost savings, delivery reliability, quality enhancements, and process efficiencies. Desired or preferred experience and technical skills: Experience in developing and rolling out Supplier Performance Program, in its entirety across a complex organization Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Proficient in data analysis and utilizing data to drive performance improvements. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence and drive change. Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in supplier performance management or a related field. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Proficiency in using supplier relationship management (SRM) software and other relevant tools. Certifications in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields are a plus. Estimated compensation for this position is: $90,000-$110,000 base + bonus The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed.
