Lotus Bloom Psychology is a growing mental health practice dedicated to providing high-quality care. We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Insurance Billing Specialist to manage our revenue cycle operations in-house.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated full-time Insurance Billing Specialist to manage all aspects of our insurance billing and credentialing processes. This critical role ensures timely and accurate claim submissions, maximizes reimbursement, and provides essential support to our clinical and intake teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in navigating the complexities of behavioral health insurance billing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Claim Management:
• Scrub claims thoroughly to ensure accuracy and compliance before submission.
• Submit insurance claims promptly and efficiently.
• Process and resolve claim rejections and denials in a timely manner.
• Communication & Support:
• Communicate directly with insurance companies regarding claim status, payments, and policy changes.
• Check and verify insurance benefits for clients, supporting the intake team during the client onboarding process.
• Credentialing:
• Manage and maintain all necessary credentialing for clinicians at the practice with various insurance panels.
• Team Collaboration:
• Attend one mandatory weekly meeting with the Billing and Intake Department staff to review processes and resolve issues.

Employment Details:

• Status: Full-time (W2)
• Schedule: Monday through Friday. Create your own schedule of 40-hours per week.
• Pay: $25.00 per hour, paid on a monthly payroll schedule.

Qualifications (Desired):

• Proven experience in medical or behavioral health insurance billing, specifically handling claim scrubbing, submissions, rejections, and denials.
• Strong understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Experience with clinician credentialing and panel management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and billing software.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or degree is a plus.
