We are seeking a proactive and organized Account Manager to oversee client relationships, manage service opportunities, and ensure project success. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building long-term client partnerships, and can coordinate technical and administrative teams to deliver outstanding service.
Core Responsibilities
- Serve as one of two primary points of contact for clients, managing service opportunities from quote to completion.
- Build, submit, and follow up on quotes in coordination with technical leads.
- Manage approved projects: hardware procurement, technician assignment, and post-project follow-up.
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and responsiveness.
- Cross-sell services to existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure Service Agreements are up-to-date and notify the management of any issues affecting profitability or client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Service Coordinator to ensure technician schedules align with project needs.
Daily Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and assist service coordinator with creating support tickets.
- Track all assigned active opportunities and maintain visibility into next steps and timelines.
- Gather quoting details from clients or technical leads.
- Win/Lose opportunities: update ticketing system accordingly.
- Order and stage hardware for approved jobs; maintain awareness of staging inventory.
- Assign technicians and coordinate scheduling with the Service Coordinator.
- Follow up with clients post-project to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor internal response times and profitability metrics for each opportunity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in account management, project coordination, or client services—preferably in an MSP or IT services environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with quoting, ticketing, and inventory systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with technical teams and translating client needs into actionable tasks.
