Job Description

As a Security Officer - Full Time in Fox Lake, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related concerns while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, food and beverage service locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting relevant observations and notifying appropriate personnel of concerns.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the property.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
