Job Description

Responsibilities

• Assembled small, intricate magnetic components using detailed blueprints, work instructions, and proper material staging.
• Operated magnetizing, demagnetizing, and marking equipment while meeting strict quality, safety, and customer standards.
• Performed visual and dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges; completed accurate work order documentation.
• Applied Lean Manufacturing principles, supported packing/final inspection, and met tight quality and delivery deadlines.
• Trained and guided other assemblers, provided limited oversight, and collaborated on complex builds and special projects.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in product assembly or in roles requiring strict adherence to precise instructions.
• Ability to work confidently and accurately with very small parts and components.
• Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on quality and standards.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work orders, blueprints, and detailed work instructions.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and procedures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
