Warehouse lead

- Manage, assign, and supervise dock employees to optimize personnel and equipment utilization for loading and unloading activities.
- Monitor and ensure daily safety protocols are followed by all team members.
- Teach and enforce safe lifting techniques to maintain employee safety throughout daily operations.
- Maintain housekeeping standards to uphold safety and productivity.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Oversee and verify accuracy of all dock-related paperwork handled by employees.
- Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as assigned by management.
- Lead and guide dock employees, setting performance targets, monitoring progress, and providing coaching as needed.
- Enforce company policies, safety rules, and government regulations among team members.
- Manage end-of-shift reporting and performance updates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations is preferred.
- Forklift certification required.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Familiarity with working in a temperature-controlled environment.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds regularly and push/pull up to 250 pounds.
- Capable of frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, squatting, and reaching.
- Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependable with a solid attendance record.
- Basic math and computer skills are essential.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts as necessary to support 24/7 operations.
- 2nd shift: 3:30PM – 2AM
- Mandatory Training during 1st shift.
