Job Title: Warehouse Lead

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Lead employee to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate the daily activities of our warehouse team, ensuring efficient loading and unloading operations and maintaining a safe working environment. Your leadership will be crucial in achieving operational goals and maintaining high standards of productivity and safety.

What you’ll do:

• Manage, assign, and supervise dock employees to optimize personnel and equipment utilization for loading and unloading activities.
• Monitor and ensure daily safety protocols are followed by all team members.
• Teach and enforce safe lifting techniques to maintain employee safety throughout daily operations.
• Maintain housekeeping standards to uphold safety and productivity.
• Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Oversee and verify accuracy of all dock-related paperwork handled by employees.
• Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as assigned by management.
• Lead and guide dock employees, setting performance targets, monitoring progress, and providing coaching as needed.
• Enforce company policies, safety rules, and government regulations among team members.
• Manage end-of-shift reporting and performance updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience in warehouse operations is preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Familiarity with working in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds regularly and push/pull up to 250 pounds.
• Capable of frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, squatting, and reaching.
• Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable with a solid attendance record.
• Basic math and computer skills are essential.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts as necessary to support 24/7 operations.

Shifts Available:

• 2nd shift: 3:30PM – 2AM
• Mandatory Training during 1st shift.
