Sales Specialist
- Responsible for business growth by selling solutions across segment customers and accountable for meeting required sales/revenue targets.
- Identify and develop a robust pipeline of prospective customers and build a professional network within the industry.
- Conduct market research to uncover value drivers and effectively communicate accurate and timely market updates to multiple levels of management.
- Actively participate in the preparation and execution of sales plans, events and campaigns.
- Communicate and effectively present Axalta solutions to key decision-makers at prospective companies.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external resources to deliver results.
- Maintain accurate account information and contact data in Salesforce (SFDC).
- Bachelor's degree and/or at least 5 years of Automotive Refinish industry experience.
- 5 + years of direct-selling experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals.
- Experience selling to or managing relationships with top-tier clients preferred.
- Strong business development and prospecting skills plus the ability to acquire new clients quickly and effectively.
- Strong knowledge of the collision repair, commercial transportation and industrial business environments as well as repair shop and distribution fundamentals.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and time-management skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-discipline.
- Competent computer skills, proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Valid driver's license required.
