We are seeking a Certification Specialist to join our Support Center team in Chicago, Illinois who is detail-oriented, enjoys new challenges, and thrives within a deadline driven schedule. Certification Specialists are responsible for agency reporting, processing move-ins and recertification's, sending out notices, monitoring resident accounts, and more. The ideal candidate is an organized problem solver with strong time management skills and a positive attitude.

You Have:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with low income housing, specifically HUD Section 8 and/or LIHTC
• Illinois Tax Credit Experience
• Experience with Onesite Property management software or similar
• Demonstrated knowledge of HUD and LIHTC program regulations, up to and including HOTMA
• Current Compliance certification preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
