Overview :
INTECON, LLC is seeking an experienced Training Developer / Instructor to design, develop, and deliver training for the Mobility Air Forces (MAF) Mission Planning Systems (MPS) Capability Drop-4 (CD-4). This role ensures that AMC warfighters receive high-quality, role-based training materials and instruction that enable them to effectively employ new mission planning software capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training needs analyses to identify user training requirements for new mission planning software features.
- Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials such as handouts, quick-reference guides, and multimedia training content.
- Deliver classroom, on-site, and virtual training sessions for Air Mobility Command personnel and mission planning system users.
- Update and maintain training materials to reflect the latest MPS software releases and ensure accuracy over time.
- Coordinate training events, including scheduling, logistics, and participant communication.
- Support the government's ability to record and reproduce training sessions and materials for future reuse.
- Ensure all training content is government-owned, accurate, and compliant with standards.
- Collect and incorporate user feedback to continuously improve training effectiveness.
Security Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret clearance, with SCI Eligibility preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training development and delivery for defense or complex technical systems.
- Experience supporting U.S. Air Force or DoD software training programs, preferably in mission planning or aviation systems.
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deliver both classroom and online training courses.
- Experience with Instructional Design methodologies (ADDIE or similar).
- Experience in Training development software and e-learning tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate).
- Experience with delivering training in-person and via virtual platforms (MS Teams, ZoomGov, etc.).
- Experience with Mission Planning Systems or related Air Force operational software.
- Instructor certification (e.g., CompTIA CTT+ or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Military Instructor Certification or Master Instructor designation desirable.
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Learning Management Systems (LMS) and collaboration platforms (SharePoint, Teams).
- Multimedia training development tools and simulation software.
