Strategic Project Lead for Finance AI Training

Lead as the primary point of contact for top AI Lab clients, directing a team of finance domain experts to create and scale high-quality training data and evaluations for frontier AI models. You will design and run large finance-specific data pipelines, ensure data integrity and scalability, and translate operational results into executive-level insights. This role reports directly to the CEO and the Head of Human Data and focuses on high-impact projects with top AI Labs.

• Own projects end to end, including planning, execution, delivery, and client satisfaction for top AI Lab customers.
• Manage complex, finance-specific data pipelines to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Lead teams of Human Data Managers and Leads who review the work of finance subject-matter experts.
• Work closely with Human Data Engineers to define, track, and optimize KPIs across finance-driven workflows.
• Communicate directly with top AI Labs on large, high-impact projects and serve as the main client point of contact.
• Provide executive-level updates and insights on project status, data performance, and operational impact.
• Oversee the design and execution of workflows that structure, optimize, and manage large-scale data operations, maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and quality.

• 2+ years in a leadership role driving operational processes, managing large-scale or finance-heavy data projects, or optimizing complex workflows.
• Background in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or demonstrable strong exposure to financial systems and data.
• Required skills include leadership and team management, data operations, and experience with human-in-the-loop data processes.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and soft skills, with experience working alongside senior finance domain experts.
• Startup and entrepreneurial mindset, with a track record of building processes from the ground up, identifying inefficiencies, and executing rapid solutions.
• Willingness to work long hours, including weekends, when necessary in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Passion for high-stakes, high-impact work and for improving how AI systems learn and reason using human expertise.

• Team context: You will manage Human Data Managers and Leads and collaborate closely with Human Data Engineers and external AI Lab stakeholders.
• Schedule expectation: This is a high-commitment role, which may require extended hours and weekend work at times.

• Core team total compensation target range: $400, 000 - $550, 000 per year.
• National base salary range disclosed for this full-time position: $180, 000 - $230, 000 USD per year.
• All employees are eligible for equity compensation.
• Employees may also receive performance-based bonuses, subject to role and company policies.
