All training and ongoing support are provided by our Volunteer Coordinator. All you need to bring is your heart. Join our Growing Hospice Team! Our team is committed to creating a comfortable, dignified, and caring environment for our patients and their loved ones. Companionship Volunteer Needed Companionship volunteers provide social interaction, emotional support, and friendship to hospice patients. Requirements- Must have a valid driver’s license and automotive insurance, if traveling to make patient visits.
- Successful completion of a background check is required.
- Volunteers are not paid employees and do not receive compensation for their time.
- Currently assisting individuals in the Chicago Western Suburbs.
