Position: Product Manager Assistant

Pay Rate: $52,000 - 72,800 Yearly
Job Description
The Product Manager/Junior Engineer works alongside the Product Development Manager/CEO in developing Lighting Fixtures and Specification Cut Sheets. You will be a key cross-functional team member who manages every step of the product lifecycle from concept to production.
Responsibilities Include
- Create and maintain product workflows in Smart Sheet and or Epicor.
- Assist in establishing task and product milestones during the development stage.
- Monitor all phases of new product Spec Sheet development and help to resolve roadblocks.
- Works with Marketing, Technical, and Engineering teams to ensure deadlines are met.
- Work with Product Development Sourcing Manager to provide estimated launch dates for product families' spec sheets.
- Assist with cost analysis and Price list with Product Development Sourcing Manager.
- Proofread print and electronic product literature.
- Serve as a company-wide resource for product questions and information.
- Create and maintain Product Master Data files.
- Notifies CEO and Product Development Sourcing Manager of any discovered Pricing errors, Spec sheet errors, Product errors.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Must speak and write English proficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or related field.
- 1-3 years of Product Management or Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical knowledge of electrical and lighting products.
- Lighting manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Must possess excellent communication and be self-motivated.
- 1-3 years managing a small to mid-sized team.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and properly manage change.
- Ability to work with a cross-functional team without formal authority.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills and Creative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in manufacturing organizations that produce or assemble products.
- Experience with Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and SmartSheet.
- Ability to read CAD drawings.
- Professional, responsible, and dedicated.
