Wastewater Engineer
- Interaction with the planning, developing, coordinating, and ensuring successful completion of projects.
- Interact with and understand project schedules to assure successful delivery of projects on time and on budget.
- Make decisions independently and take responsibility for project engineering solutions.
- Participate as a lead engineer on single and multi-disciplined projects.
- Build and develop project team members.
- Represent the company in client and agency meetings to enhance knowledge exchange within the company and to develop client relationships.
- Communicate and coordinate efforts and ideas with peers and management team.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring of project team members.
- Work with Department Managers to develop department standards.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, environmental emphasis.
- Registered professional engineering license, reciprocity through NCEES to multiple states preferred.
- 4 or more years of experience in the design and project management of water and wastewater projects including wastewater treatment plants.
- Ability to lead themselves through project design
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
