Experienced Barista - Matcha Theory Lincoln Square, Chicago
We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Barista to join our opening team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, matcha drinks, teas, refreshers, and specialty café beverages
- Operate and maintain commercial espresso equipment
- Produce consistent milk texturing and latte art
- Prepare and serve nitro cold brew beverages
- Follow beverage recipes and café SOPs with accuracy and consistency
- Assist with food preparation and assembly of sandwiches, salads, toasts, and other café menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, beverage station, and prep areas
- Restock inventory and assist with opening and closing duties
- Deliver exceptional customer service and hospitality
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
