Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Receiving Associate to join our team in a secure section of our warehouse. This role involves handling products, ensuring they are properly picked, packed, and prepared for shipment, while operating in an IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack products accurately according to pick sheets and order sheets.
• Use RF scanners to verify picks and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare products for shipment efficiently and securely.
• Move materials throughout the facility using various equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Maintain inventory and ensure all equipment such as iPads and smartphones are utilized effectively.

• Experience with warehouse operations, including picking and packing.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Competence in using technology, including iPads and smartphones.

• Experience in a warehouse or ITAD environment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Work Environment

The work environment is a warehouse setting, specifically within a secure and closed-off section known as ITAD. This area resembles a lab-like environment, providing a focused and secure workspace. Working hours are initially from 7am to 3:30pm, transitioning to 9am to 5:30pm or 8am to 4:30pm in September.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CAROL STREAM, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
