Job Title: Forklift Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled forklift driver to efficiently utilize sit-down forklifts to move goods throughout our facility. The role involves moving palletized products, assisting in packaging shipments, checking inventory, loading and unloading products, and staging products for shipment. You will be responsible for palletizing products, assisting with loading products onto the production line, filling out shift paperwork, completing inspections, and maintaining production pace. You must be comfortable working in both the plant and warehouse areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to move goods within the facility.
• Move and palletize products efficiently.
• Assist in the packaging and shipment of products.
• Check and maintain inventory levels.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Stage products for shipment and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist with loading products onto the production line.
• Complete shift paperwork and inspections.
• Maintain a consistent production pace.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or cold storage environments.
• Proficiency with RF scanners and order picking.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manteno, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $22.00/hr.
