Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Keyword's: #Pontiacjobs; #QualityEngineerjobs; Start Date: Immediate Job Description This position is for a Remote Control Validation Engineer supporting the Remote Control systems section. The role is part of an engineering team responsible for integrating and validating scalable features on embedded electronic control systems and vision systems for remote controlled machine applications. Job responsibilities include: Responsibilities:
- Problem solving, corrective actions: lead/support investigations into quality issues (scrap/rework/customer complaints), develop and implement corrective and preventative actions, Use quality tools like 8D, fishbone, and FMEA
- Process monitoring/continuous improvement: use data and risk analysis to direct actions, collaborate with small business team (manufacturing engineers, operations) to improve process capability and reduce variation
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze quality data (e.g., defect rates, process capability, SPC charts), Prepare reports for management and cross-functional teams, Track KPIs such as First Pass Yield, internal and external PPM
- Training and Support: train operators on quality standards and inspection techniques, support cross-functional teams with quality-related expertise
- Years of experience: 5 years plus 3 years of internships
- Degree requirement: bachelor"s in relevant field, master"s 3 years plus internships
