Our company is seeking a Staff Accountant who will be responsible for performing general accounting tasks, including preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities, and assisting with various audits and projects.

  Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and post accurate and timely journal entries to the general ledger.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting reports.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial support and insights.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and information.
• Contribute to special projects and process improvements as assigned by the Controller.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience required; manufacturing industry experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
