Job Title: Pain Management and General Anesthesiologist
Location: Rockford, Illinois

A reputable and expanding anesthesia group in Rockford, Illinois is seeking a Pain Management and General Anesthesiologist to join their dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for a dual-trained physician to provide a mix of surgical anesthesia and interventional pain management services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, eager to collaborate with surgeons, and interested in developing a dedicated pain management program within the practice.

The incoming physician will handle a wide range of surgical cases, including orthopedics, general surgery, and neurosurgical procedures. In addition, there is significant potential to grow a pain practice by building strong relationships with referring providers and tailoring treatment plans for a diverse patient population. While participation in the call schedule is strongly encouraged, the exact structure is negotiable to accommodate personal and professional needs.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive $500,000 base salary

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia for various surgical cases, including orthopedic, neuro, and general procedures

• Evaluate and manage patients requiring interventional pain treatments

• Build collaborative relationships with surgeons and referring providers

• Provide excellent patient care with a strong focus on outcomes and satisfaction

• Participate in the call schedule, with flexibility based on mutual agreement

Qualifications:

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pain Fellowship

• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology

• Experience in managing complex surgical and pain cases

• Proficient in interpreting imaging and diagnostics (CT, MRI, ultrasound)

• Strong communication and organizational skills
