Senior Software Engineer - Back Office (Chicago)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack .NET and Java Developer to advance our presence in the Energy Market. You will support our Back Office with existing tools and develop new solutions to automate daily processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support internal confirmation and settlement solutions used across sites, collaborating with teams in Germany and the UK.
• Maintain and develop interfaces for the PCI system used in the Chicago Back Office and connect to other internal systems.
• Analyze Back Office processes and develop automation solutions for improved maintainability.
• Work with other IT teams to build sustainable data exchange interfaces and enable end-to-end processing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• University Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of Endur as an ETRM system and practical experience in Java development.
• Hands-on experience with PCI Gen Manager.
• Passion for supporting business operations.
• Solution-oriented thinking with collaborative approach across departments.
• Effective communication skills, capable of presenting to management.
• Good self-organization skills; able to work independently and in teams.
• Willingness to travel at least once a year to Europe to strengthen team collaboration.

Preferred but Not Essential

• Knowledge of Confirmation and Settlement processes for bilateral and exchange-traded energy products.
